'More moderate restaurant for families': Schaumburg Public House opens by convention center
The high-end Sam & Harry's steakhouse, which closed at Schaumburg's Renaissance Hotel adjoining the convention center at the start of the pandemic, is transitioning to the Midwest-inspired Schaumburg Public House restaurant. Though already open under its new concept, the restaurant is awaiting the arrival of new furniture and signs before its official ribbon-cutting within the next several weeks.
Andretti proposal gets Schaumburg entertainment district off to racing start
Schaumburg officials and representatives of Orlando-based Andretti Indoor Karting & Games say they are excited to launch the first phase of the village's 23-acre entertainment district around the Schaumburg Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel. Last week, the village announced that an 80,000-square-foot Andretti Karting facility would be the anchor of the 8-acre first phase on the west side of the Renaissance Hotel.

The Boler Company enlisted Antunovich Associates to complete the architectural and interior design of a four-acre site located with the boundaries of the Veridian Master Plan in Schaumburg, Illinois. Boler’s new headquarters includes an eight-story 180,000 SF office development with a parking garage. Phases two and three will consist of two additional office developments totaling 270,000 SF for future corporate office users on the site.

Village of Schaumburg Hosts Commercial Broker Tour
The Village of Schaumburg Economic Development Department held a Commercial Broker Tour on Tuesday, October 22nd. The Village took advantage of this unique opportunity to highlight the impressive 90 North District developments and forthcoming leasing opportunities to a dynamic group of over 50 commercial real estate brokers, site selectors, and community partners. During the meet and greet Village President Tom Dailly took the opportunity to welcome everyone and express how pleased he is with the evolution of 90 North District. Village President Dailly added that he is asked on a regular basis when Topgolf will open its doors, and he is excited to help them celebrate their opening in November. Matt Frank, Director of Economic Development, discussed the formation of 90 North Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district and its role as a catalyst for redevelopment. Transportation partners, PACE and Lyft spoke about the importance of integrating public transportation and ride share programs when creating vibrant live, work, play, mixed-use developments. The attendees then visited sites within the 90 North District and Veridian and were treated to a private tour of Topgolf. The event concluded with a networking reception at Chicago Prime Steakhouse, compliments of Schaumburg Bank & Trust Company N.A., a Wintrust Community Bank.
