On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the Village of Schaumburg hosted a high-energy community celebration, Schaumburg Live! @ 90N, to mark the official opening of 90 North Park and Promenade Drive. The event welcomed residents, employees, and visitors to 90 North Schaumburg for an afternoon and evening of live music, food, and family-friendly fun.
The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly completed Promenade Drive and the 90 North Park. Attendees explored the park’s features, including the hammock grove, pathways, and gateway signage.
Live entertainment followed with performances by three tribute bands: Without U2, Coldplay USA, and Supersonic LA. Guests brought lawn chairs and picnicked on the grass while enjoying a variety of food trucks and beverage stands.
The event concluded with a drone light show, lighting up the Schaumburg sky.

Organized by the Village’s Cultural Services Department under the leadership of Tiana Weiler, Schaumburg Live! @ 90N showcased the public spaces and programming taking shape in the district. It marked a milestone in Schaumburg’s long-term vision for a walkable, connected destination at the core of 90 North.
